In this module you will explore the parts of the General Insurance Code of Practice* that relate to how to support customers experiencing vulnerability and Financial Hardship. This is part of the release by the Insurance Council of Australia in 2020 and came into effect on 1 July 2021. 

 

*This course should be completed in one sitting, as answers may be lost. 

Why you would complete this course

Upon completion of this course you will be able to: 

  • Explain how the Code defines vulnerability
  • Understand your obligations under the Code when customers are experiencing Financial Hardship and other types of vulnerability.

CPD/CIP Points

This e-learning module is accredited with 0.3 NIBA CPD/ ANZIIF CIP points. 

At the end of the module you can register that you have completed the module with a 85% pass rate so we can issue you with a Certificate of Completion.
