Hollard Commercial Insurance Pty Ltd (ABN 86 603 039 023, AFSL 474540) (Hollard Commercial) has developed the Hollard Commercial Evolve Training Program (Training Program), to make available certain online training programs to licensed insurance brokers. By accessing the Training Program you (the Participant) agree to the following terms and conditions:
The Participant agrees to Hollard Commercial using the Participant’s details for marketing purposes and updating their contact details on the Hollard Commercial database for communication, marketing and promotional purposes. The Participant agrees to Hollard Commercial using their information in accordance with the Hollard Commercial privacy policy, which is available here: www.hollardcommercial.com.au/media/1230/hci-privacy-policy.pdf
The information contained in the Training Program (Content) provides only a general overview of matters Hollard Commercial considers relevant to the Participant’s training requirements. The Content is not intended to be comprehensive or detailed, and it does not take into account any person’s personal circumstances. To the extent that the Content contains forward looking statements, Hollard Commercial considers that the expectations reflected in those statements have reasonable grounds. The statements are subject to known and unknown risk factors associated with the financial services industry which could cause actual results or trends to differ materially. To the full extent permitted by law, Hollard Commercial excludes all liability arising from the Participant’s use of the Training Program and reliance on the Content and Turks Legal Information provided.
The Participant acknowledges and agrees that:
a. Each of Hollard Commercial and the Participant will continue to own all their respective intellectual property rights existing at the date these terms take effect;
b. Without limiting 5) a, all Training Program materials and Content are owned by Hollard Commercial and Turks Legal, respectively. All intellectual property rights in the Training Program and Content, including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials, the audio of all webinars and videos, and any displayed trade marks and brands, are owned by Hollard Commercial and Turks Legal, respectively. No Training Program materials or Content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part without Hollard Commercial’s prior permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of Hollard Commercial’s and Turks Legal’s intellectual property rights;
c. Without limiting 5)a, all intellectual property rights jointly created by Hollard Commercial and the Participant in connection with the supply of the Training Program vests in and belongs to Hollard Commercial and the Participant as tenants in common.
It is the intention that training modules will be released on a regular basis over the next 6 months. However, Hollard Commercial cannot guarantee the number of modules to be released or the regularity of them.
The insurer for General Insurance products is The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd (ABN 78 090 584 473, AFSL 241436) (Hollard). Hollard’s Business Insurance products and services are provided by its agent Hollard Commercial Insurance Pty Ltd (ABN 86 603 039 023, AFSL 474540) (Hollard Commercial) acting under a binder of the insurer Hollard.
These terms and conditions are governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The Participant submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
