Unlike our other Evolve courses, this is a longer course (60min) which explains the changes to be implemented on 1 July 2021 under General Insurance Code of Practice 2020.
This course provides an overview of the General Insurance Code of Practice* released by the Insurance Council of Australia in 2020 and comes into effect on 1 July 2021.
*This course should be completed in one sitting, as answers may be lost.
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
demonstrate the Code’s objectives and principles
understand our obligations to the customer when the customer is buying insurance, lodging a claim or making a complaint
detail the standards of service for us, Distributors and Service Suppliers.
Please note that Part 9 and 10 in the General Insurance Code of Practice 2020 (Supporting customers experiencing vulnerability and Financial Hardship) are not covered in this course.
This e-learning module is accredited with 1 NIBA CPD/ ANZIIF CIP points.
At the end of the module you can register that you have completed the module with a 85% pass rate so we can issue you with a Certificate of Completion.
